behind the work:
Art has become a way of paying attention. Through various mediums, I explore the relationships
between memory, place, and identity.
Each medium offers a different way
of asking questions, collecting
experiences, and discovering
unexpected connections.

About
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, I earned a degree in Studio Art from Kenyon College,
where I developed a love for exploring ideas through a variety of creative processes. My work is driven by
curiosity, storytelling, and a belief that making things by hand can help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.

Workshops & Programming
I have spent as much time teaching creative work as making it.
As a Printmaking Assistant & Shop Technician at Kenyon, I taught students
to operate presses and kept the studio running safely. As a Lead Art Teacher
at Little Art House, I designed and taught classes, prepped materials, and ran
after-school and summer programs. As a Research & Programming Intern
at The Graft Museum, I helped plan public events and connect
visitors to the work on the walls. I can plan a program, prep it,
teach it to a room of people who've never done it before,
& make them want to come back.Â
